Q1: How does pilot positioning work?: The system analyzes drone telemetry and RF signal direction to triangulate the pilot’s location (positioning range 1-5km). This is a passive process – it does not transmit or alert the pilot. Critical for finding drone operators in restricted areas.
Q2: What is the actual detection range in different environments?: Normal conditions (urban, some interference): 1-3km. Suburban open areas (low interference, clear line of sight): up to 1-8km. Range depends on drone transmission power and electromagnetic environment.
Q3: How does the whitelist work?: When a drone is detected, the operator can click on it and add it to the whitelist. The drone’s flight path on the display turns green, and no further alarms are issued for that specific drone (by its RF signature). Useful for friendly or authorized drones.
